Hi there. Well, I just finished The Peacemaker. Very well done, Iand a beautiful tale of the worlds of the “haves” and the “have-nots” delightfully colliding to fulfil the Wish of your dear Wishus! Loved the wisdom and deep humanity of your characters, and the use of Penelope the Poodle as the mystical all powerful force that binds this unlikely collection of persons in love and mutual purpose. I truly enjoyed it and honestly did not expect to finish it in one sitting as we just got back from vacation and I have a million things to do. But I could not stop reading! And that, my friend, is perhaps the greatest compliment one writer can bestow upon another. I wish much luck as you press forward with The Peacemaker. I have a strong feeling that my reaction to this beautiful story will very much be that of anyone who has the pleasure of reading it. Your story leaves me with a warm heart and a renewed sense that goodness indeed exists amongst the gloom and chaos of this life and it comes in many forms, sometimes even and especially in the most unexpected forms. When a dog is a central character, helping align competing interests and themes, I’m in! As you know I have a very special love for animals, dogs in particular. They are in a word: Magic, and a balm to the human soul and people would do well to pay closer and better attention to them.
